    • DIY – Necessity is the mother of invention…
      We as hams (not necessarily all Hams) love to create, design, tinker, push our projects to failure, find a fix for it, break something we bought commercially, figure out a way to fix it better than it was originally designed and then.... Well, break it again! It's this challenge that keeps stoking the fire for designing the better mousetrap, the better antenna, the better SDR, the better whatever it is you decided to try to cobble together, to improve. Either help the community by diy-ing something that maybe commercially was out of your budget or didn't exist. Noone's going to fault anyone for designing something within a tighter budget (Unless it fails, falls and manages to somehow destroy your neighbors prize winning knock-out roses, or even worse) ...
